  Looking for people with skills in most general areas of study:  Chemistry, Algebra (including Developmental Algebras, College Math, Geometry, College Algebra, Applied Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics), Biology, Microbiology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, and Accounting. Other subjects may be added as a need arises.                                        

Tutoring Guidelines

Complete a Columbia State employment application.

Completed the class in which they are needed to tutor.

Must have one (1) strong letter of recommendation from a faculty member or staff member.

Must have no campus disciplinary record.

Must be able to communicate well orally and relate meaningfully with fellow students.

Must be patient and be willing to work with some ADA students.

Must be responsible and willing to work with little supervision.

Will be required to begin CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) Tutor Training.
